Interventional Radiology Opening in Burlington, MA Located 12 miles from Boston Details: - Full-time, permanent opening- Seeking an Interventional Radiologist for its high volume, high complexity IR service. - The section performs a large volume of procedures of all ranges and complexity, where capable proceduralists contribute significantly to patient care. - Optimal candidates should have (2- 5) years IR experience with an interest in image guided therapy research and development. - The hospital operates a nationally renowned Transplant Institute, has comprehensive cancer services, is a Level 1 trauma center and a referral center for complex Pancreatic, Colon and Rectal, Urologic, Cardiac and Orthopedic surgical services.- The department has an excellent track record of industry collaboration and co-creation. Strong mentorship by experienced colleagues and a collegial work environment make this position an ideal growth opportunity, which can lead to incremental leadership responsibility such as Section Chief Role in the near future for suitable candidates.- Level 1 trauma center - 395-bed tertiary care facility ambulatory care center with a Level I Trauma Center, and a Comprehensive Stroke Center, which serves as a teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine. In addition, many of its physicians hold teaching assignments at Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine.
