Job SummaryMass General Brigham is seeking a skilled clinical mental health specialist to fill a role in Salem, Massachusetts.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and provide therapeutic, psychoeducational, and activity-based groups for patients on the unit.
• Collect data through observation and ongoing assignments to inform treatment plans.
• Prepare and provide forums for discussion and activities to improve mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
• Communicate findings to the multidisciplinary team and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of treatment plans.
• Assess and communicate the need for supplies and sensory interventions for patients.
• Assist in staff development of group facilitation skills.About the RoleThis is an ongoing opportunity for a clinical mental health specialist to work with patients on an inpatient pediatric psychiatry unit. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of clinical experience associated with mental health and a master's degree in a related field.Requirements
  • Current Social Work License (LCSW, LICSW) or a related field license (LMHC, Licensed Psychologist) in the State of MA is preferred.
