Job Description Ready to make a difference? BAE Systems is
looking for systems engineers to develop, build and work on the
world's most advanced electromagnetic spectrum operations systems -
detecting, locating, identifying, and countering threats for joint
and international aircrew. We develop highly sophisticated digital
Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and we are looking for motivated
and positive minded engineers highly skilled in Electronic Support
Measures (ESM) to join cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams.
Roles and Responsibilities (Technical):This position will involve
developing new ESM capabilities for application in EW systems and
performing systems engineering function, such as:
- Developing and managing systems level requirements
- Developing operational systems concepts
- Performing system architecture trade studies
- Originating ESM design concepts, algorithms, performance
models, and techniques
- Perform systems level integration and test for highly complex
systems
- Prepare and/or delivering basic customer and technical
presentations.
- Track program execution through metrics and participate in
independent design reviews, architecture review boards and other
technical reviews
- Provide support to program proposal cost estimates by
developing or reviewing Basis of Estimates that including
quantified risks and opportunitiesRoles and Responsibilities
(Functional Manager):Lead a small to medium sized team of
High-Performance Systems Engineers including:
- Recruit, retain, train, recognize, develop, and assign team
members as appropriate to meet business area needs
- Develop individual and group goals and objectives
- Communicate flow-down
- Collect and provide performance feedback
- Mentor careers by development of career and training plans
- Ensure group members adhere to BAE Systems' cultural
principals, policies, and visionWork location can be Nashua NH or
Manchester NH. Because of the need for consistent, in-person
collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due
to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed
full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent
experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience
of:12+ Years with BS10+ Years with MS8+ Year with PHD
Possess an Active US Government
security clearance (with ability to possess TS)Experience on teams
developing Electronic Support Measures (ESM), Radar Warning
Receivers (RWR), or SIGINT systems architecturesExperience with
systems engineering activities across the development cycle
(analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements,
system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system
integration & test)EW system design knowledge as it relates to the
detection, location, and identification of radar and missile system
engagementsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
M.S. in either Systems, Software, or
Electrical Engineering.Experience with People Management and/or
leading High-Performance Teams Experience with system resource
management.Experience with technical performance measurements and
cost account management.Model based systems engineering experience
with tools such as MagicDraw.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$140690 - $239140Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
