patients and employees. We specialize in patient-centered care,
adherence packaging, specialty drug services, mail order services,
prior authorizations processing, and patient counseling. We are
seeking highly motivated energetic and experienced pharmacy
technicians to help with the picking, packing, shipping, and daily
operations for our supply chain team. Our goal is to provide the
highest level of service and become the operational hub for all of
our member institutions.Job Description:Primary
Responsibilities:Responsible for supply chain operations in the
pharmacy, warehouse, and loading docks including, but not limited
to:Staging product for deliveriesCoordinating with pharmacy and
delivery service personnel to ensure accurate transfersReceiving
product from delivery companiesStocking of items in designated
areas within the warehousePick, pack, and ship packages of various
sizesMaterial handling: receiving, unloading, and stocking shelves,
inventory cycle counts, product organization and stock
rotationMaintaining and procuring inventory of packaging and
pharmacy supplies.Maintenance and filing of required recordkeeping
and logs.Safe operation of equipment essential to safely and
accurately complete assigned duties, including dollies or motorized
equipment.Communicates any problems to the supervisor including
issues with the merchandise location system or with the merchandise
being loaded/unloaded.Cleans up and disposes of boxes, packing
material, and pallets, as well as routine cleaning and maintenance
of pharmacy and loading dock areas, including pharmacy
equipment.Participates in ongoing training regarding technology
upgrades and new systems applicable to the position.Performs all
job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain
daily productivity and quality goals Rotates through different
departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the
business.Required Qualifications:High School diploma or GED
required.Registration with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy as a
Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee.1+
years related work experience in pharmacy.Experience with computer
systems required, including web based applications and some
Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint or Access.Preferred Qualifications:Inventory,
shipping & delivery, and/or pharmacy fulfillment
experience.Competencies:Decision Making: Ability to make decisions

established procedures which generally require little or no
supervision.Problem Solving: Ability to address problems that are
routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following
clear directions and procedures and by identifying opportunities

precedents and procedures. May set priorities and organize work
within general guidelines. Seeks assistance when confronted with
difficult and/or unpredictable situations. Work progress is
monitored by supervisor /manager.Written Communications: Ability to
communicate clearly and effectively in written English with
internal and external customers.Oral Communications: Ability to
comprehend and converse in English to communicate effectively with
medical center staff, patients, families and external
customers.Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate full working knowledge
of standard concepts, practices, procedures and policies with the
ability to use them in varied situations.Team Work: Ability to work
collaboratively in small teams to improve the operations of
immediate work group by offering ideas, identifying issues, and
respecting team members.Customer Service: Ability to provide a high
level of customer service to patients, visitors, staff and external
customers in a professional, service-oriented, respectful manner
using skills in active listening and problem solving. Ability to
remain calm in stressful situations.Social/Environmental
Requirements:Work requires close attention to task for work to be
accurately completed. Intermittent breaks during the work day do
not compromise the work.Work routine is fairly consistent, but
employee needs to be able to use judgment to respond to events
several times a week.No substantial exposure to adverse

Telephone, Background Noise.Physical Requirements:Heavy work:
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Use
of machinery, including forklift, power pallet jack, and manual
pallet jack Most elements of the job are active, and the employee
will be required to stand for periods of time or move throughout
the hospital campus This job requires frequent movement. Occasional
